Love has nothing to do with what you are expecting to get, it's what you are expected to give - which is everything.

this is so true. that's why i give everything, knowing that you can receive nothing.

when i read it, i felt it needed a change. it should be this:
love the heart that you love, but never hurt the heart of the one you love.

that's what i believe in, ever since i was young. and till now, i still believe this is true. =)
